BBC news reported that border officials arrested a man in New Zealand after he tried to smuggle seven live fish into the country in his trousers. Some of the fish seized in the accursed trousers.
Security guards noticed water dripping down his legs at Auckland airport. The fish were in plastic bags in his trouser pockets, according to New Zealand TV.
Tuan Nguyen, 31, pleaded guilty to a charge under the Bio-security Act when he appeared before Manukau District Court, and was fined NZ$2000 ($1565; £1000).
Judge Andree Wiltens called his actions a "clumsy attempt'' to smuggle the fish into the country. Mr Nguyen must pay the fine before returning home to Australia.
